Welcome to my website! I am glad you joined me on my little slice of the Internet. My name is Taylor (Puitz) Frecker. I work as a freelance editor and writer. I studied Professional Writing and English at Taylor University and graduated in 2017. Before I tell you much more about myself, I’d like to tell you about my website.
In case you hadn’t noticed from my education and employment choices, I love words. If I could sit and read beautiful sentences all day long, I would. This website is a place for me to share that love with you, dear reader. Stemming from my love of words, I will be blogging about my experience as an editor and writer, sharing book reviews, suggesting authors and others in the industry for you to look into, and giving tips about how you can become an editor, too.
Additionally, I will be sharing my experiences as a world traveler. I live in Italy and plan to take the opportunity to travel while I am here. I will write about what I learn, what I love, what I don’t love, and really, anything I find worth sharing.
I post about two times per month. To make sure you don’t miss a post, you can click the follow button.
Along with my blog, this website is a resource for writers to contact me about editing. Check out my Editing page to see what my work entails. The Publications page will also show where I have dabbled in the writing world.
Finally, a little about me. I was born and raised in the Midwest and it will always be home in my heart. Shortly after I graduated, I married my best friend and over the next year, we moved to Italy to begin our adventure. We will be living here for the next few years, and I could not be more excited. I am a middle child and fully embrace Middle Child Syndrome. My favorite things include plaid, bubbles, the planets, outer space, and bubble wrap. In my free time I love to read, travel, enjoy nature, and spend time with my family. I also love children and, because of this, many of my summer and volunteering jobs have included working with children.
I would love to hear from you. Jump on over to my Contact page and let me know any thoughts, questions, suggestions, or comments you might have for me.
